LG recently announced the latest edition to its popular ‘Chocolate’ series of phones, the second generation LG Chocolate or BL-40 is to be unveiled in August and with not much on offer as to what it will contain a video has made its way onto YouTube that just looks way too good to be made by a fan of the phone.
Could it really have a 4inch diagonel screen with a glass screen surface that is scratch free and a 21:9 ratio? If this is true this phone really really looks awesome!
Watch this video here and see what you think, could be a winner when it comes out!
The LG App Store
LG announced that its going to be launching an online store for mobile phone applications with an initial focus on Asia and towards the end of the year to achieve a more global reach. USA won’t be included in this reach towards the end of the year with it first coming to Europe and South-America (not sure if us here in South Africa are included in that) but there is no firm plan on launching it in the USA.
I think the aim here is to try catch the rest of the market where the Apple App Store and Blackberry phones are not as popular as they are in the US, then once they have a good leg there to stand on they could launch in the US and compete with Apple and others.
My only gripe is that there are going to be TOO many App Stores available and its going to try developers moggy, why don’t HTC + Nokia + Samsung + LG + Blackberry all come together and launch one App store to compete with Apple – would make developers a lot happier to only have really work with one SDK and multiple different versions.
