This iPhone was first unveiled back in June at the San Fran Worldwide Developers Conference and then launched on the 21st June – so us poor peeps in SA have had to wait a month and a half for it to come, not too bad considering how long the iPhone 3G took to come to our shores.

The ‘S’ in iPhone 3G S stands for speed so if you have one please let us know if this new iPhone is speedy!?

The 16-gigabyte version of the 3G S will cost from R1 999 to R4 199 and a 32-gigabyte version will cost from R2 999 to R5 199, subject to a 2-year contract with Vodacom, and depending on the type of contract that you take out.
